Jessie Lynxleg, RMT

I graduated from Okanagan Valley College of Massage therapy in 2005. I have been practicing deep tissue massage therapy at TVWC since the fall of 2005. I am very excited about helping clients with pain management, rehabilitation and improved performance .I believe that everyone should go home with either a stretch, exercise or some type of home care post treatment. I do my best to educate my patients on how to maintain and even improve upon the results we achieve during their treatment.

My passions are travelling, hockey and cross country mountain biking. My atheltic background is : soccer player, hockey player, dodge ball player and soccer coach.I recently completed my first Warrior dash.

My hours are monday to saturday 9-7 pm. That being said I am flexible and will start earlier or stay later upon request . I also will work Saturdays upon request.I am flexible and will do my best to make sure you are looked after.

Christine VanSolkema, RMT

I have been in Kamloops and with the Twin Valley Wellness Clinic since 2012 and I have been enjoying every minute in this community. In this last year I have been able to help out the community by volunteering at the MS bike race, volunteering my skills to help Jamie McDonald, who ran across Canada in support of Childrens Charities, and by being a keen member to our Kamloops Search and Rescue team.

My passion is getting people better, so of course my focus here is more preventative and rehabilitative with education being  central in my treatment plans.

When I am not in the office I am usually in the hills and mountains surrounding Kamloops. There is so much to explore, whether it is by snowshoe, bike or by Jeep. It has been great to work with such a dynamic group of massage therapists.

Alexandra Rubner, RMT

I’m a graduate from the class of 2014 at the Okanagan Valley College of Massage Therapy in Vernon BC. In the short period of my career, I have worked with a wide variety of clientele; from athletics, pregnancy, pain management and special needs. My goal in this profession is to aid in the recovery from injury, encouraging a natural recovery of the human body and education to you as to why your injuries have occurred.

In a treatment scenario I have developed a very dynamic and flexible approach to every client that walks in and I have been able to mold to the needs that are requested by the client. Modalities that I utilize in treatment vary from myofascial release, joint mobilization, deep tissue work and trigger point release; which are always followed with a homecare consisting of either a stretch or strengthen that will reflect the treatment constructively to get you back to your day to day activities.

My background is very diverse. I have been involved in sports the majority of life, consisting of swimming for 13 years, volleyball for 4, skiing since I could walk, and recently running and road biking. In the future I plan on getting involved with the public events that arise in Kamloops such as rock-climbing, community running events and drop in events at TCC. For educational plans, the Bachelor of Health Science is a desire to help further my understanding of the human body as a whole, which allow me to aid in the recovery of the clientele that walks into the clinic.

Scheduling with me at the clinic is very flexible; weekends are open from 10am-4pm, and I will be available during the week from 8am-6pm. Give me a call at the clinic, on my cell or even book online!

Amber Rhiamon:

I graduated from the College of Massage & Hydrotherapy in Ontario in 1989. Since then I have been in a few different areas of BC and now am happy to call Kamloops my home since spring of 2016. Through the years of practicing, I have leaned towards modalities such as myofascial release, neuromuscular therapy, and movement therapies. I have previously trained in acupuncture / Chinese medicine, homeopathy, equine massage therapy and I have taken the pilates teacher training with a focus on client home care.

When not at work I am usually hitting the trails on my horses along with numerous dogs tagging along. Hiking, X country skiing are also my faves to get out and keep in shape. Happy to now be in Kamloops. This really is a great place to call home!
